We are committed to providing you with a customer experience that is as pleasant as the years that you will spend living in your new home.

The whole buying process should take 60 to 90 days from beginning to end.

Our Associate Members are strictly prohibited from acting as, or representing themselves or FundMyHome.org as a Lender or a Residential Real Estate Broker. They are Independent Contractors who promote our Down Payment Assistance.

We will not sell your information to a third party company, it is FundMyHome.org in collaboration with Real Estate Mortgage Grants and Down Payment Assistance, Inc., a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization who will Donate some or all the funds you need for Down Payment and/or Closing Costs. Our Down Payment Assistance is gifted to you without liens or second mortgages.

Our best customer is an educated consumer. We like to say that we require a lot because you deserve a lot. And just as any new car buyer searches online before arriving to a dealership, and homebuyers educate themselves before contacting a real estate agent, we at FundMyHome .org are no different. FundMyHome.org gives you the tools and information you seek to familiarize yourself with the homebuying process.

Follow the process to appraise yourself with the knowledge needed to achieve your home ownership goals.

Before you apply, take the time to learn, click on every menu, watch all the videos, and take notes of your questions.
Watch the videos about the workflow and frequently asked questions. Check your credit scores on Creditkarma.com. Check your county loan limits, learn about credit supplements, watch the video that warns you about things to avoid before closing.

It is also important that you get acquainted with the required list of supportive documentation that you will need to provide. You will need to sign up and get your Homebuyer ID # to get to our document uploader, so remember to save your username and password as you will need to return to your document uploader from time to time to upload updated documentation. (Your username will be your email address)

TO APPLY
   •  Go to "Homebuyer Apply Here" to obtain your Homebuyer ID number
   •  Submit your Pre-Qualification Questionnaire and Needs Analysis.
   •  Access our Online Calendar to speak to one of our 501(c)(3) counselors
   •  You will speak with our counselors through and Online G-MEET Screen-Share session.
   •  A success page will appear with a link to our online calendar upon your submission of your Questionnaire
   •  Our Support Team will be there on a screen share waiting on you at the day and hour of your appointment.

NOTE

Before we begin, we want to make you aware that In some cases, individual computers may be set to magnify the computer screens at more than 100% which sometimes may cause computers to obstruct some of our sub-menus from plain view. To avoid this possibility, we recommend that you set your magnification rate at 80% or lower.

Here is how you do it: In your computer keyboard, simply press and hold the Control (Ctrl) key while you press the minus or plus key(s) until you set your computer to display your screen at the desired magnification rate. The last sub-menu that you should see is "Do's and Don'ts (Things to Avoid)"
